Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on a secure, on-campus student home. Couples reside with 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and guidance, including daily routines, medications administration, transportation to activities, developmental and recreational planning, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Initially, duty is nine consecutive days on with three off, then transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Compensation includes per-person salary of $44,768 plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Must be a legally married couple for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27 or older, and meet multiple safety and lifestyle requirements (smoke-free/weapon-free campus, limited pets, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs). For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
