Job Summary
Two-person married couple role serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on the Milton Hershey School campus. They reside in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, medication administration, and engagement in developmental and recreational activities. Responsibilities include managing household routines, student schedules, budgeting, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and transitioning from flexible houseparent duties to aPlaced Houseparent with the same student group. Nine days on and three days off initially, with relocation to Hershey, PA and full benefits including relocation assistance; requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
