Job Summary
Two-person, full-time on-campus role as Flex Houseparents for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; will transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students in their own home. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and housing/ meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Relocation to Hershey, PA is required for the role
- Two-person role for couples
