Job Summary
Flex Houseparents provide on-campus supervision, mentorship, and care for 8–13 students in a family-like home setting. The role requires a legally married two-person team for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities include administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three off to a Placed Houseparent role. Relocation assistance is provided, and housing, meals, and benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
