Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School live in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students, providing mentorship, daily routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leadership of devotions and Chapel. The role includes budgeting and household reporting, with a nine-day-on, three-day-off schedule transitioning to a Placed Houseparent living-and-working arrangement with the same group of students; relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
