Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on a residential campus. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, supervising daily routines, administering medications, and ensuring student wellness. Responsibilities include driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing household budgeting and reporting, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Initially, duty cycles are nine days on, then three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
