Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist couples reside on-campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents, providing care, supervision, and mentorship to a large student cohort. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, coordinating transportation to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting and reporting for the household, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role. The role emphasizes living in student homes, creating a structured, family-like environment, and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year marriage minimum for couple eligibility
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
