Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in Hershey, PA to supervise and support a group of approximately 8–13 students in a family-like home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and actively engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule and transitions to living with the same student home in a placed Houseparent arrangement. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role involves housing and supervision of students
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
