Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School, residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage routines and schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a progression from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Two-spouse, two-year married requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
