Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines, medications, transportation to activities, and planning developmental and recreational activities. Responsibilities include daily supervision, budgeting and reporting, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, and maintaining a structured, family-like environment. Role starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (~$44,768), comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading devotions and attending chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
