Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and oversight for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and initially working a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license with willingness to become certified to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off; both spouses must apply individually for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement for consideration (two-person role)
- Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home

- Must be able to relocate to Hershey, PA area (relocation)
