Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA to live in on-campus student homes and supervise 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from rotating nine-day schedules to a Placed Houseparent role with a stable student home. Requires married couple with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27+, high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Prolonged commitment to student success in a residential setting
