Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Chapel attendance, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The position follows a nine-on, three-off schedule during the initial phase, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living in the same student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k)-like options, paid time off, and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; must be a legally married couple (both spouses aged 27+).
