Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School: couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and guide groups of 8–13 students, manage household routines, supervise medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions, and report on budgets. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA with eventual placement into a single student home; benefits include housing, meals on duty, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, and paid training. Must be a legally married couple for at least two years, ages 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to lead devotional activities in a Judeo-Christian environment. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying to Sunday Chapel
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Proselytizing prohibited in chapels/services
