Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist in a two-person Flex Houseparent role: married couples reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental/recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle transitioning to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students; includes relocation to Hershey, PA and comprehensive benefits with housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Legally married for at least two years (two-person role)
- Two spouses aged 27 or older
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA for placement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Requirements
- Two-person (married couple) role
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
