Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, mentorship, and structured routines, including medication administration, driving to activities, planning development and recreation, daily devotions, and budgeting/reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Relocation assistance provided; benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Livingston, TN (per posting)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; ability to be role models for students
- Complete individual employment applications (both spouses)
- Capacity to supervise and mentor students in a houseparent setting
