Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for a two-person married couple serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on an on-campus student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and rotating nine days on with three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, competitive compensation per person, and comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, paid time off, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- On-campus on-site housing experience or willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
