Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) reside on campus in student homes of 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and support; duties include managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. Requires being legally married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift 50 lbs; relocation to Hershey, PA with on-campus housing, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead daily devotions and accompany students to Chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
