Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School, on-campus homes for ~8–13 students, providing care, supervision, and development activities; duties include daily supervision, scheduling, medication administration, driving to activities, leading devotions and Chapel visits, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning to a Placed Houseparent. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided; benefits include comprehensive coverage, retirement options, and paid training. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and complete individual applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Two-person role requirement; both spouses must apply individually
Additional Requirements
- Posting requires both spouses to complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
