Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including daily supervision, mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided; salary is $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total per couple when including housing, meals, utilities, and benefits). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
