Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for approximately 813 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, student schedules, and medication administration while driving students to activities and planning recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Operate under a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role after initial support of various homes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
