Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married-couple role) reside in on-campus student homes to provide daily supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. The position follows a nine-on/three-off schedule during initial placement, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role in the same student home. Relocation assistance is offered; comprehensive benefits provided. Both spouses must complete individual employment applications for consideration.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse fully qualified applicants
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role-models for students
