Youth Development Specialist - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Two-person, on-campus Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in student homes to provide care, supervision, and guidance for groups of approximately 8–13 students, with duties including daily supervision, curating student routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. The role operates on a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule during the initial phase, then transitions to a placed houseparent arrangement living with the same group of students. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and be 27 or older. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided, along with comprehensive benefits; salary is $46,917 per person with total compensation around $180,000 per couple including housing and meals.
