Job Summary
Two-person married couple Full-time Flex Houseparents live on an on-campus student home at Milton Hershey School. They provide care, supervision, mentorship, and structured daily routines for a group of approximately 8–13 students, including administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational programs, and leading daily devotions with the Sunday Chapel. The role initially follows a nine-on, three-off duty cycle and transitions to a placed houseparent living arrangement with the same group of students. The position includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits, with emphasis on maintaining a family-like, safe, and faith-aligned environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
