Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents will reside on-campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, and guiding daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. The role includes budgeting and reporting responsibilities, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, followed by transition to a placed houseparent assignment in the same student home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year commitment for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Chapel services
- Two-person married couple age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Certification to drive student home vans
