Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA, residing in on-campus student homes and supervising a group of approximately 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (approx. $168,000 total per couple), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver''s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
