Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couples) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to provide care, supervision, mentoring, and support for roughly 813 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from a nine-days-on/twelve-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person (44,768) with total compensation around 168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive health benefits, paid time off, and paid training. Qualifications require youth-focused experience, a high school diploma or GED, two years of married, 27+ years old for both spouses, and valid driver licenses with van-certification ability. Proximity to Hershey, PA is required, with relocation support provided.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Prohibition of proselytizing; ability to lead students in devotions and accompany to Sunday Chapel
