Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, transport students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and transition to a placed houseparent with a schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off. Requires a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older, valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Chapel services
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
