Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples residing in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent with a consistent student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA, with comprehensive benefits and housing. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with ability to drive student vans, and two-year married partnership with both spouses aged 27+, plus compliance with campus safety and conduct policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
