Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for a two-person, married couple team serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing daily routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and fostering a structured, family-like environment. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with transition to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to drive student home vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married status for couples
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Commitment to Judeo-Christian chapel services
- Experience with youth preferred
