Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role living on campus as Flex Houseparents supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, supervising routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and eventually transitioning to aPlaced Houseparent with the same student group. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with van certification ability, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty; job emphasizes a structured, family-like environment and collaboration between spouses to support student success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse consideration must be completed individually by both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27+, no more than three dependent children in the student home
