Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for a two-person married-couple team living in on-campus student homes. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a fixed student-home assignment. Location-based relocation to Hershey, PA with full-time benefits and relocation support; on-site housing and meals provided. Requires on-campus housing duties, strong youth-care orientation, and ability to lead devotional activities in alignment with campus guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
