Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents on campus at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and paid training; comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse/ married couple must apply
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in student home
