Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students residing in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and oversee budgeting and reporting. Drive students to activities and lead devotions while accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities with the group. Initially support various homes on a nine-day-on, three-day-off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid driver's license to operate student home vans. The role offers a salary of $44,768 per person, including free housing, meals, and relocation assistance, within a smoke-free campus environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
