Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for Milton Hershey School. A married couple will reside on-campus in a student home to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting. The initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; benefits include comprehensive health coverage and other fringe benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person married couple requirement
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to be certified to drive student home vans
- Capacity to lift 50 lbs.
