Job Summary
Flex Houseparents (two-person role for married couples) reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, mentorship, supervision, and support for 8–13 students, including daily routines, medications, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. The role transitions from nine days on / three days off to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA, is required; compensation per person is $44,768 with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
