Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents reside in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide care and mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, with a shift pattern of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off; later transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same group of students. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided. Requires married couples, both spouses age 27+, and a commitment to a faith-based, structured residential setting for student success.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse role requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
