Job Summary
Two-person married couple will serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living in on-campus student homes to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role follows a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule initially, with a progression to a Placed Houseparent in the same student home; relocation is provided and benefits include comprehensive healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modelling for students
