Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles for married couples reside in on-campus student homes (8–13 students) to provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support, including administering medications, coordinating daily routines, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in development/recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and chapel attendance. The position starts with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Relocation assistance is provided, and compensation is around $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple) including housing and benefits. Must be legally married for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, and meet on-campus living requirements. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, and paid training; a valid U.S. driver’s license is required and the ability to drive student home vans is expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and Newton, NJ campus
- Desire to reside in on-campus student home with dependents (students)
