Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition from initial nine-on/three-off duty cycle to the Placed Houseparent role. Requires both spouses to be legally married for at least two years, aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; salary per person is $44,768 with total compensation around $168,000 per couple. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse two-year marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
