Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and adapting to a nine-on/three-off duty schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role in the same student home. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to become certified to drive student home vans, and a legally married couple for at least two years (both spouses aged 27 or older). Relocation to Hershey, PA is offered, with benefits including salary ($46,917 per person, approx. $180,000 total per couple with housing and meals), comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
