Job Summary
Married couples live on campus as Full-time Flex Houseparents, caring for about 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervising daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, conducting daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing household budgeting and reporting. The role follows a nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off, with eventual placement as a Houseparent in a consistent student home; benefits include relocation assistance, housing, meals, and comprehensive insurance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Relocation assistance provided
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
