Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist for a two-person, married-couple team. Live on campus as Flex Houseparents in a student home, supervising and mentoring a group of approximately 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role in the same student home. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA and on-campus benefits such as housing, meals while on duty, insurance options, retirement savings, PTO, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple role
- Legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Relocation assistance provided
- Completed individual applications by both spouses
