Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School: a married couple lives in on-campus student homes to supervise ~813 students and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into a steady Houseparent assignment. Benefits include a salary of $46,917 per person (approx. $180,000 total per couple with on-campus housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more), comprehensive benefits, and relocation assistance with paid training. Eligibility requires youth-related experience, both spouses being legally married for at least two years and aged 27 or older, a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to participate in religious services as described. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years

- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans

- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to be on campus full-time (9 consecutive days on, 3 days off initially)
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and work on-campus
- Proven integrity and professionalism; serve as role models
