Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples living on campus as Flex Houseparents. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and budgeting/reporting for the household. The position starts with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and may transition to a placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Compensation per person is $46,917 annually, with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits included.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in devotions and chapel
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans

- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
