Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person, married couple) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning to a placed houseparent role over time. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, married couple
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and chapel services
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children
- Commitment to on-campus housing for students
- Experience with youths
- Two-person role for couples
