Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person role) reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and adapting to a nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off schedule before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent in a single student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; compensation includes salary per person plus comprehensive benefits and relocation support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-year spouse requirement: both spouses must qualify and apply independently
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
Additional Requirements
- Two-person married couple role
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
