Job Summary
Flex Houseparents: A two-person, full-time role for legally married couples residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and guide 8–13 students, manage household routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and chapel attendance, budget and report on household operations, and support students’ academic, emotional, and social development. Initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
