Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines, schedules, and medication administration. Drive students to activities, plan recreational engagement, lead devotions, and accompany them to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and household reporting, ensuring a structured, family-like environment supports academic, emotional, and social development. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, transitioning eventually to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Requires a legally married couple (both 27+, married two+ years) with valid driver's licenses; relocation to Hershey, PA is required. Salary is $46,917 per person with free housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
