Job Summary
Youth Development Specialist role for married couples: two-person Flex Houseparent team to reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, supervising 8–13 students, providing mentorship, managing routines, administering medications, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Compensation is $46,917 per person (approx. $180,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses must be legally married for at least two years and at least 27 years old. Community constraints include no alcohol on duty, smoke-free campus, and pet limits. Two-employer-hiring-applications rule applies for consideration; relocation to Hershey, PA is required.
